Happy Valentine's Day

It has been a beautiful day here. Yes, a little cool but nice enough to where I opened the windows today and let the breeze blow. Josh had a buddy stay last night. They Wii'ed until 3am! Oh..to be a teenager again! Yesterday, they were outside riding the go cart and Josh comes in and says "uh, dad, we need some help out here". Yeppers...enough to make my heart stop! When I went outside, this is what I saw...

It ended up being just a tie rod on the steering that needs replacing. But, yep...picture me walking outside and seeing the go cart up on it's side!

I have to tell you, Mike is just the best hubby! I had been eyeing a new coffee pot (one without a carafe). Even before I starting eyeing it, he went out and was looking at them for me. He picked out the exact one I wanted! And, went to QT to get a bag of my favorite coffee. Yes, QT coffee rocks!!! No starbucks for me... QT is my choice! LOL Here is my new coffee pot!

David is staying with Nana and PaPaw so we didn't see him today to give him the gifts for Valentine's. But, Josh got his! I do believe he liked it. He got a box of candy, two coca-cola tshirts (that he has been begging for!) and a Coke drawstring bag. Since David wasn't here, Josh reluctantly allowed me to take his picture! LOL
