There is one thing I can count on every single Mother's Day....my beautiful rose bush blooming. :-) Several years ago, Mike and the boys got me two rose bushes - one from each kid. Mike planted them and they took off! I mean...they grew quick! Well, every year since then, I can always count on one thing - they will always bloom the week before Mother's Day. They bloom about 5 times a year but the week before Mother's Day is always a given. Earlier today, David told Mike he wanted to go get me a rose off the bush. Mike took him out to snip a rose. He came in with a handful of roses. One of the roses was starting to lose some petals. Several petals floated to the ground but one landed on my hand. This one petal was shaped as a heart. I showed David and he said that was because it was a Mother's Day rose. :-)
